Charles Kahn, an MIT graduate andProfessor of Architecture at NCSU, became the first Dean of the new School of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Kansas in 1968. During the 1970's, Dean Kahn personally recorded audio interviews with noted architects from around the world.
