Architecture Worth Fightin' For!
The NCModernist Legal Defense Fund (LDF) provides technical assistance, funding for legal representation, and other support services. From preserving historically significant Modernist houses to standing for due process, the LDF actively advocates for the legacy of Modernist residential architecture. For example, in 2014 the NCModernist Legal Defense Fund raised about $25,000 towards $50,000 in legal fees for the Cherry/Gordon Case. We need your financial help to future defenses. The founding Host Committee of the LDF includes:

Pursuing legal channels is a critical but expensive investment in preserving the architecture you love. It's an investment in truly protecting Modernist design, documentation, and heritage.
